Scout and Guide
Scout and Guide is an educational movement that aims to evolve the young learners in their physical, mental and spiritual sphere inspiring them to play constructive roles in the society by fostering values and ethics and thereby unfolding their inherent skills.
The Scout and Guide method is a progressive self- education that lays emphasis on practical outdoor activities including camping, wood craft, aquatics, hiking back packing and cooking.
All the school run by Tripada Education Trust have passionately incorporated this movement. Following is the achievement of Scout and Guide Wing during the academic session 2014-15.
Community Services
Enforcing learning beyond classroom, the school also engage in community services. Such services build up sense of pride and responsibility and an opportunity for skill building and problem solving. Underlining this principle, association with YUVA UNSTOPPABLE boosts a service mentality among the learners of Tripada. The students contribute books, soaps and other essential things to the poor and needy children. Visits to hospitals and orphanage develop a sense of efficacy among the students. Contribution of old newspapers, Pasti ki masti, a Times of India initiative is also part of extended community services. We are also associated with Cancer Aid Society and regular organiser of Blood Donation camps in the school.
Sports
A sport is an integrated part of the school curriculum; it offers platform for all sorts of state and national level competitions. Sufficient coaching is given to the aspirants in the school campus. A swimming pool, huge play ground for horse riding, football, and other outdoor sports. Participation in sports enhances children's school accomplishments. It is good for building confidence among the students to honing skills that gives a sense of improvement and accomplishment. Winning games and moving to higher levels of competition permit these children to sense their personal progress. Every year the Annual Sports Day is a mega event with the students, facilitators, parents and the management to step into the open and try out their physical abilities with optimum sportsman spirit.
Educational Trips
Social activities makes students behaviourally refined and morally straightforward by imbibing self-discipline, self-confidence, self-esteem, along with apt etiquette and essential life skills and inculcate inter-personal skills that foster mutual co-operation, respect for authority, loyalty towards family, friends and fellow citizens with a sense of responsibility that makes them sensitive towards the society and the environment.
